Generation Xcel names highest staff prize
in honor of co-founder Kristi Brattli.

Whereas Kristi Brattli has endured personal hardship throughout her lifetime and has overcome with grace, dignity, and an unwavering resolve;

Whereas Kristi Brattli sacrificed the relative luxuries of suburbia to live and work for four years in a community that was racially, culturally, and socially very different from her;

Whereas Kristi Brattli has modeled the ideals of courage, determination, and loyalty during her time in and service to her new community;

Whereas Kristi Brattli's life inspires awe and honor from all those who know her and is a tribute to the values reflected above;

Generation X-cel: By Youth For Youth hereby establishes the Kristi Brattli Service Prize, to be awarded annually to an X-cel staff member whose outstanding commitment and tireless service embody the ideals of courage, determination, and loyalty.
